I played for a small 1-A team in north carolina, Swain Co High School. while there we won 3 straight state championships. 89-91 . when i graduated i took a one year break and then traveled out to kansas to play for a small junior college in lawrence, Haskell Indian Nations University, i played 2 years there and then graduated.. found myself in the work force for 4 years. haskell became a NAIA school in 98. i was asked to come back and play so i did for one more year...

92-honerable mention all-conference.
93-first team all-conference, freshman player of the year. single season sack record.
94-first team all conference, preseason all-american, sophmore player of the year, career sack leader..
